About the course

The Microsoft® Project 2013 course is primarily intended for individuals who manage one or more projects involving various tasks and resources. Microsoft® Project 2013 can be used to create and execute effective project plans. This course enables professionals to navigate through the Project 2013 interface, understand tasks, and optimize costs and resources. On completion of this course, you will be able to assess project requirements, map resources, identify risk, track project progress, and see a plan through to successful completion.

This course is a Microsoft® certification exam 074-343 – oriented cum technical course on Project 2013. This course covers hands-on exercises which are technical in nature.

Target audience : ICT professional, software engineers and Project Managers

Class Pre-requisite

Microsoft® Project 2013 Foundation and must have worked in any Projects for year, which has followed a Project Management Framework

 

Structure of the Course

This 2 day Microsoft® Project 2013 course is supplemented by three months of online training.

As part of this course package, participants also get full length Microsoft® Project 2013 practice test.

Depth of Course Coverage

The 1 day boot camp is an intense training program with lot of rigor. All Microsoft® Project 2013 topics are discussed in detail. The class discussions are complemented with quizzes at the end of each topic. There is also a case study to be completed in the class.

After completing the training and the practice test, participants can request to take up the actual Microsoft® Project 2013 Core (074-343).

Mr. Sher Afghan Khan has a skill mix that combines solid technical knowledge with its applications in business context, in addition to excellent communication and presentation skills. Mr. Khan’s experience was gained through multiple positions which were in the fields of learning delivery and operations, project management, training management and facility management in Australia, Bhutan, Singapore and Middle East.

During his professional career, spanning over 14 years, Mr Khan’s has spent 10+ years managing/sponsoring projects and programs in different fields, including; training, organizational engineering and Information Technology. Mr Khan transfers his knowledge and experience, while enhancing his own, through developing and delivering training, and learning from audiences across the world. He has developed over 100 individual training programs. Also wrote books on Linux administration and .Net programming at Royal Institute of Management(RIM).

He was associated with big IT giant and had been located in India and abroad especially Singapore, Bhutan., Australia and Saudi Arabia. He was awarded by USO in 1994 for his general knowledge competition across India. Also he has received Award of Excellence from the ministry of IT and Telecommunication, Government of Bhutan for his contributions towards prestigious Indo-Bhutan Project Chiphen Rigpel.

Mr Khan’s certificates include computer application and Network centred computing. He is Microsoft certified professional developer & Microsoft certified technology specialist. He is also a certified RHCSA, RHCE, RHCI, RHCX by the Red Hat Inc, USA.
